RSVP: Join us to support Pilar for Assembly
Our sister, Pilar Schiavo, is running for California Assembly and she needs our help! Pilar worked with us for 13 years in San Francisco and the Bay Area as the Political Director for the SF Labor Council, Legislative Aide to then Supervisor Tom Ammiano, and as a political and community organizer for California Nurses Association. During that time she helped pass HealthySF, raise the minimum wage, safe St. Luke's Hospital, strengthen immigrant rights, and fight for racial and environmental justice.

Pilar has fought for our community and stood in solidarity with us. Now she needs our help to get to Sacramento and continue that fight for guaranteed healthcare, worker protections and good jobs, and to address our housing affordability and homelessness crisis. As a grassroots candidate refusing contributions from oil, pharma and big corporations - donations from our community are essential for her. If she's going to come out as the clear leader in this race, and make her first and most important fundraising reporting goal in June, she'll need all of our support. She's running in a AD 38, in north Los Angeles & Ventura County, a purple district where a republican just flipped it to red after too many democrats split the vote. We can help her flip AD 38 back to blue with not just any candidate, but one that's a champion for our community.

Join with friends, labor and community leaders to show we have Pilar's back, because we know she will fight for us every day in Sacramento. Learn more about Pilar: www.pilar4ca.com.
