Calypso Day Trip

'Canada's largest theme water park' opens at 10 and closes at 5. It is a 40-minute drive from Ottawa, so we plan to leave Ottawa around 9:15 to get maximum value for our money. We will go unless it looks like it will thunderstorm all the day long.

Cost: about $65, including gas and parking (BUY YOUR TICKET ONLINE!!! It is the $55 daily pass you can find on the website, link below)

You can bring a picnic lunch, and it also looks like there are many different places you can buy overpriced water park food there, if you so choose ;)
