What is your name, pronouns, class year, and favorite Wellesley tradition? *
What Position(s) are you interested in holding? *
Our current leadership is listed here (use your Wellesley login): https://alum.wellesley.edu/boston/about/officer-list. Some board members are rotating off the board, and other positions could have the option to serve as Co-Chairs.  Positions with greater volunteer need or those that more often require co-chairs include: Website, Communications, and Programming.
For the position(s) you are interested in, what skills, qualities, or past experiences would you be able to apply to the role? If it is something new that you have never tried before, please discuss how you usually approach a new project/responsibility and/or what you would like to try!
How have you interacted with WCAB in the past? If you have had limited experience, why?
What would you do to reach out to/ increase participation from alums similar to you moving forward?
What efforts, initiatives, or programming from our Board do you think would serve the Wellesley Boston area alums well that we don't already do? Or, what changes would you make to an existing initiative/program?
Have you held a position on a board before? If so, what is one lesson you've learned? If not, what do you hope to gain from this experience?
What is one of your favorite ways to connect with the Wellesley Community (however you define it)?
If the position(s) you apply for is already taken, would you consider serving in a co-chair role? *
If the position(s) you are applying for are already taken, would you consider serving on a committee as a volunteer? *
Our Board meets once a month (usually 2nd Tuesday of the month, 6:30-8pm EST. We annually select the schedule and times for board meetings, but it doesn't vary too much.) We also ask each board member to "take the lead" on at least one event per year. Does this time commitment work with your existing schedule? /// add average of hrs per month? // role specific / pandemic // pandemic disclaimer (we are volunteers - we can be flexible!) *
For the event you would host, this could range from  meeting a group in the lobby of a theater before a movie to leading a speaker series. The key is hosting an event you would actually like to attend. We strive for diversity in idea, location, event type, and time of day. Our hope is to reach more alums this way. What is one event that you might like to host? If you need assistance with funding, snacks, would like a co-host, or need an event space - include that in your description.
A copy of your responses will be emailed to the address you provided.
