During the 2022/2023 school year, Seneca East Local Schools will be inducting its first Hall of Fame class. The purpose of the Seneca East Hall of Fame shall be to recognize outstanding achievements and meritorious service in the school district among Seneca East alumni, athletes, coaches, teachers, administrators, staff members, and community members. This also includes the original Attica and Republic High Schools that formed our district and serve as high schools until the Seneca East merger in the fall of 1970. 

 In order for an individual to be considered for enshrinement, the Seneca East athlete, coach, teacher, staff member, administrator, community member, and/or alumni must have significantly distinguished him/herself from others in a positive way.  Community members considered for enshrinement will be considered for their contributions and commitment to our schools and do not have to be graduates of the district.  A student/athlete must have graduated at least six years prior to enshrinement and a team must have a minimum six year span from the year of competition before enshrinement can occur. For staff nominees, at least two years must have elapsed since their last day of employment in the District (special cases can apply in the event of illness, etc.). All nominees must have demonstrated good citizenship while enrolled or employed in the District as determined by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee, and they must lead/have led a positive life after their enrollment or employment in the District as determined by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee. The Hall of Fame Selection Committee will immediately remove an individual from enshrinement in the Seneca East Hall of Fame if the individual engages in immoral conduct and/or is convicted of or pleads guilty to a criminal offense that warrants such removal as determined by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee.
