Parents, guardians, and students who are 18 and up should fill out this registration and consent form for students and parents/guardians to attend the Florence Nightingale Day on Saturday October 22, 2022 from 10:00 am - 2:30 pm ET. Please complete this registration and consent form by Wednesday, October 19th at the latest. The first 100 people to register will receive a t-shirt! This event will be in person at the Harvard Science Center (1 Oxford St., Cambridge, MA 02138, about a 5 min. walk from the Harvard Square red line stop).
The purpose of Florence Nightingale Day is to expose 8 - 12th grade students to statistics, biostatistics, and data science and to celebrate women in these fields. The event will include hands-on activities, small group discussions, career and college panels, and lunch. There will also be activities for parents and for local math/stats teachers.
Parents/Guardians should fill out one form per student (if you are 18 or older, you can fill out this form yourself). Once you have registered, we will send email updates about the event as we get closer to October 22nd.
