A Piece of Me Immersive Exhibit & Panel Discussion
On the occasion of the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation, the UNFPA-UNICEF Joint Programme is pleased to invite you to A Piece of Me Immersive Exhibit & Panel Discussion.

Date: Feb 6th, 2020
Time: 11am-1pm
Location: UN Headquarters, visitors' lobby, NE corner

The exhibit includes:
- A Piece of Me film screening (6 mins), curated by Sara Elgamal, is a three-part immersive art exhibition of three Ethiopian female genital mutilation survivors depicting their way of life in Afar, Ethiopia. Layout: A Piece of Me - Exhibit Layout. The film will be displayed in an enclosed cubic wall space at a constant loop projected on each wall.
- Wardrobe exhibit designed by Nadine Mosallam, womenswear apparel and accessories designer. The garments represent hope through light and movement.
- Traditional Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony
- High-Level Panel Discussion will follow the exhibit tour, engaging with the European Union Commission, the UN and member states on their commitments and accountability on the elimination of female genital mutilation by 2030.
