The Eco-corridor is co-sponsored by the Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) and the UR Office for Sustainability. Student interns assist with Eco-corridor CBL projects. This includes (but is not limited to):
- Supporting the development and installation of educational signage
- Leading informational class tours of the Eco-corridor
- Supporting mapping tasks
- Assisting with class logistics, such as reserving waders and other field equipment, securing bikes and bringing them to the trailhead with helmets, contacting facilities and RES about access, and setting up camera traps
- Assisting with Pollinator Meadow needs and research
- Collaborating and support for student-led research projects, including data collection and organization, quality control, and data verification
- Guiding student volunteers for maintenance of the Eco-corridor and Huguenot Flatwater
