How our fostering process works:

1) You will complete this form in AS MUCH DETAIL AS POSSIBLE. That way, we will be able to look at your experience and current situation to determine which dog could be a good match for you.

2) After submitting the form, one of the pound coordinators will contact you to discuss your application further and to do a home check.

3) If the home check is passed, you will be invited to the pound to meet the dogs.

4) Depending on your level of experience, you may be required to meet the dogs a few times to determine a suitable match.

5) Once matched with a dog, you will keep the dog safe, fed and healthy while in your care. If the dog requires a vet visit, we cover the costs, and we can also help with food if needed.

6) You will be required to send regular pictures and video updates to us so we can post the dog for adoption on our social media sites.

Additional Information:

If you decide you would like to adopt the dog after a period of fostering, the adoption process is the same whereby you will be required to sign an adoption agreement form and give a donation of 80 OMR for the adoption of your dog.
