Steps to your new mechanical keyboard:
- Pick out parts: keyboard kit, switches, keycaps. (If you need assistance in this, I am happy to help you pick out your parts, but I will not help you choose. I also offer a $30 consultation for a more in depth dive into the world of mechanical keyboards if you want more explanation of parts/options.)
- Pay for services via PayPal invoice. ($0.49+3.49% fee on top of the invoice to cover PayPal fees)
Venmo also available with no fees.
- Keyboard Building (Hotswap PCBs only) - $30
- Budget Keyboard Mod - starting at $20 (depending on complexity)
- Switch Lubing & Filming - $0.50/switch, +$0.20/film ($0.10/film if film provided)//"Frankensteining" available as long as parts are provided.
- Consultation - $30
Soldering/Millmaxing (parts not included):
- <60% - $30/$40
- 60-65% - $40/$50
- 75%-85% - $50/$60
- >90% - $60/$70
- other parts - price varies, please inquire below.
- Ship* me all the parts needed for the build including but not limited to: keyboard, pcb, plate, screws, switches, stabilizers (stab tuning is included in the build service. I also have stabs for sale from my stock), any foams, keycaps (you can choose to ship without keycaps, I have my own sets for typing testing and pictures), carrying case (if available, safer to ship inside case). **Pick up/Drop off available!
- Eagerly wait for your keyboard to be finished. (Depending on my queue and shipping times, please allow 1-2 weeks at least from the time I receive parts.)
- Keyboard/switches shipped to you for you to enjoy!
*Customer pays for shipping all ways. If you are packaging and shipping parts to me, please make sure everything is packaged properly and safely. I am not responsible for any damages caused during shipment. If anything arrives damaged or missing, I will alert you immediately and please let me know if there are any issues after you've received the finished board from me as well. I will see what I can do within my power. Highly suggest paying extra for shipping insurance, and let me know if you have a preferred carrier. I generally use USPS or UPS.
**I am located in Orange County, CA. If you want to opt for pick-up/drop-off option to save on shipping costs, that may be arranged!
--DISCLAIMER--
Custom mechanical keyboards are an investment! Please be prepared to spend upwards of at least $250-500+ for a build. If you want something under $250, I recommend purchasing my modding service on a prebuilt budge keyboard. I can make it sound and feel like a more expensive board for less! (Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about this!)
As common to the hobby, custom keyboard parts can be hard to find and may sometimes not be in-stock or available only through group-buys (pre-sale). A long waiting period might be involved.
I will be photographing, filming, and streaming the build. I reserve the rights to the photos and videos and to use them in my portfolio and social media accounts. If for any reason you prefer NOT to have your build streamed on my Twitch, please let me know!
