Lacrosse Coaches Return to Play!
March 17th, a sombre day for Ontarian's, it marks the first day that Premier Doug Ford put the province into a state of emergency. This resulted in the cancellation of facility bookings across the province including our facilities in Centre Wellington.

March 31st, delays to the start of the field lacrosse season, hints of potential issues with the start of box arise.

April 20th, Zone 8 recognizes that this state of emergency is not going to be lifted anytime soon, and in a unanimous vote across the Zone 8 board, and association presidents the traditional box lacrosse season within Zone 8 was cancelled.

June 11, the Ontario Lacrosse Association officially cancelled the traditional box lacrosse season issuing a statement to the public.

June 12th, the Ontario public sees more signs that we are getting closer to the end of the state of emergency. Groups of 10 are allowed to gather in public places with physical distance observed 87 days after the state of emergency was declared.

June 17th, your Centre Wellington Minor Lacrosse Association executive met to discuss and brainstorm return to play actions and options.
