2) Do you lease or own land, and how much space or acreage do you currently grow on (ft2 or acres). In what city, general neighborhood, county location?
3) Are you seeking land/additional land and if so how much ground do you need? in what city, general neighborhood, county location?
4) How many years have you grown on this land? *
5) Does this land have access to irrigation water that will be set up prior to planting, if needed? *
6) What are known pest pressures that exist? and how will you/do you manage them? *

7) How do you manage weeds? *
Required
8) How do you ensure sufficient soil fertility? note: winter planted grains often do best in lower fertility soils.
9) Do you grow and save seed for your own planting needs? *
10) How many years have you been saving/growing seeds?
11) If yes, what seed varieties are you most familiar with? any past experience growing grains?
12) Specify any direct experiences or trainings working with seeds (select all that apply)?.
13) It is important that the seeds we receive back are true-to-type, without unintended cross-pollination with another variety such as a neighbor's sweet corn. If you were to take on a crop that required a sufficient isolation (sometimes as much as 1/4 mile) how would you navigate working with your neighbors that may also be growing a crop of same species that you intended to grow? *
14) I agree to cultivate and care for the crop and take precautions to keep the crop free of weeds, take note of any abnormalities or insect pests, take notice of crop loss from rodents and birds, take note during harvest to prevent foreign seed into the crop, and to take note to any other guidance shared by RVHGP during the season. *
15) I agree to process and clean the seed to roughly the same condition I received the original seed, free from dirt, rocks, insects, and/or other non-seed plant debris. I understand that I may request support from the RVHGP team at any time regarding tool use, processing and technical advice or assistance. *
16) I agree to return 15 percent or more of the seed harvest to restock and grow the seed library, and that any notes such as days to flower, days to maturity, height, leaf color, anything unusual, growth observations, photo documentation etc. may likewise be shared with other growers into the future. *
