Polling Site Monitor Application
Approximately 70 Polling Site Monitors (“PSMs”) will be needed for the 2022 Resident Commissioners Special Election, scheduled for April 7th and April 8th.

The first 70 eligible residents to sign in at the PSM Training and submit their applications will be selected for at least one shift as a PSM. PSMs will conduct the operations of polling sites. All PSMs will receive paid training.  Please complete and sign the application below.

Please note that all PSMs will be employees of Resident Participation Services PLLC.  

PSMs must complete tax forms in order to be paid.  Tax withholdings will be deducted from PSM payments as required by law.

Each PSM who successfully completes their duties will be paid $15.20 per hour.

REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to read and speak English, count accurately, and write legibly.
Must be willing to work at any polling site within the District of Columbia.
You cannot bring children or others with you while you are working.
Must be available to work from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm on Election Days.
Access to reliable transportation, including bus or other WMATA service preferred, but not required.

A PAID training will be available for untrained qualified PSM applicants. This training will take place on March 31, 2022 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Sibley Plaza, 1140 North Capitol Street, NW.
