The Board will meet for a brief meeting with an invitation to any new nominees.

Once a year Arizona Dance Coalition members get together to 'connect' and discuss the state of dance arts in Arizona. This year we will be holding virtual elections for the Board of Directors - 2-year term. All members 'in good standing' will be able to vote (polling feature on ZOOM). You will receive a Slide Show on the nominees in advance of the meeting.

ADC is also revising the BYLAWS since much has changed since 2006! Attendees will get to see the first draft of the revised bylaws with an opportunity to contribute changes/ideas at a future meeting. You will receive a copy of the 1st revised draft in advance of the meeting.

During the meeting you will be introduced to a new project created to determine the economic impacts dance arts in Arizona. All dance professionals: dancers, directors, studio owners, teachers (all possibilities), choreographers, costume designers, dancewear store owners, venues that rent to dance organizations, hotels/conference centers, will be participating in a survey targeted to their specific job titles/business. But first we need to create the CONTACT LIST of AZ Dance Professionals. If you have spent $$ in 2019, or earned $$ in 2019, as a result of your dance business, make sure to complete the FORM/SURVEY. All who complete it receive the Year-at-a-Glance 2021 Dance Calendar and will be eligible to WIN A PRIZE at the drawing held at the end of the Annual Member Meeting. Jimmy has created a specialty class suitable for beginners through advanced dancers as well as non-dancers. It's a class that incorporates high level coordination and he calls it COORDI-BALLET. Here’s a description from his website:

DRAWINGS 4:45-5 PM - There will be one drawing for a $25 gift certificate to a small business of the winner's choice for those who have completed the CONTACT LIST (see link above in the ECONOMIC IMPACT section - winner need not be present to win), and enough drawings to give away all the prizes for those attending the ADC member meeting.
