YOUR COACH
My name is Andrea. I am the only instructor at Frog Empire, with decades of experience, teaching kids and adults up to 70 yrs old. I am fully Austwim qualified and have developed my own highly-effective methods to ensure 100% of my students learn to swim, be safe in the water and enjoy the lessons.
WHERE
I work in and around the City Of Port Philip, preferably in your own pool.
It is difficult to get permission to teach at the public pools, so if you don't have access to a pool please contact the swim school at your local pool.
Weather-permitting we can do our lesson at St Kilda Beach.
PROBLEMS & WHY I NO LONGER TEACH KIDS
For the most part public pools won't allow outside teachers to teach swimming. This is an issue I am working on! But it means I need to be cautious, and can only do a single lesson at a time, and irregularly. It also means teaching kids is unviable, and not allowed. All the pools insist you join their program. If you have your own pool then my minimum travel requirement is generally too long for kids.
ADULT LESSONS
Beginners: I specialise in working with beginner adults. If you have no fear of water, just no experience you can expect to learn the basics and be swimming in a single 90 minute lesson.
Stroke correction: For those who can already swim, we can correct your stroke technique for freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly, survival backstroke, treading water.
AQUA TRAUMA/ OVERCOMING FEAR COACHING
This is my unique specialty. I am also a highly qualified life coach, with Meta Dynamics, NLP and trauma coaching qualifications.
I gently support adults to overcome fear of water, fear of drowning, fear of sinking, fear of falling over in the water.
You can expect that in a single lesson you will be able to relax, float and submerge. You will be happy putting your head under water and blowing bubbles. You will already start to swim.
