The Embassy of India is planning to organize the second edition of the Festival of India on 20, 21 & 22 September 2019 at the Vasco da Gama Jardim near the Centro Cultural de Belém (CCB). Building in the runaway success of the first Festival of India on 15th August last year, this year, we are planning to expand the Festival to a 3-day celebration with larger numbers of Indian food stalls and sale of Indian items.

We plan to continue showcasing Indian cultural performances alongside the 3-day Festival as we did last year with resounding success. Therefore, we are inviting singers, dancers, musicians, etc. who excel in Indian art forms to perform on stage on all three days of the Festival of India. The participation could be in the form of musical rendition, songs, instrumental music, dance or any other kind of performance that the artists wish to project to a large number of Portuguese people as well as foreign tourists visiting the Festival.
