Discretionary Housing Payments are payable only in addition to Housing Benefit and Universal Credit.
If none of the above awards are in payment a Discretionary Housing Payment cannot be made.
Discretionary Housing Payments can only be awarded up to the maximum rent liability.

You MUST email an up to date Universal Credit Statement (if you receive it) and bank statement to
welfarereform@sutton.gov.uk before we can look at your application. Without this information we will not be able to continue with the application process.
Please note you will not be eligible for a DHP if you already receive maximum Housing Benefit or Universal Credit housing element.
