MEGA:BITESS is a year long commitment between faculty at the University of Tennessee (UT), the Tennessee Geographic Alliance (TGA), and educators to promote careers and workforce development in medical entomology and geospatial analysis in the classroom. Please make sure you visit this website (https://www.megabitess.org/) to have a better understanding of the academy. In ~500 words (~100 words/question), please address the following questions.

We will have three offerings of the MEGA:BITESS Academy between 2019 and 2022. For this first yearlong Academy, applicants must  commit for all indicated days: (M-F) June 24-28, 2019; Saturday, February 22, 2020; and Saturday, April 22, 2020. *
