Expectations of Good Expedition Behavior
A big trip like this is a huge privilege to go on and we're super excited! However, it is expected that each group member contributes to the work associated with a trip like this. This would include help doing the dishes, packing the gear/cars, helping with cooking, picking up garbage, being an active participant in group decisions etc. What's also important is having a good attitude and being flexible. For example, if a hike gets long or a car ride gets long or if weather doesn't co-operate with us or if something goes wrong, etc...... a good attitude and those positive vibes will make the trip more enjoyable for both you and the people you are with.
I understand, for the success of the trip, that I should impart excellent expedition behavior as described above. *
Do you have a personal vehicle that we can use? This would help us lower the cost of the trip and the trip deposit. (You will be reimbursed for the cost of gas at the end of the trip). *
What service/volunteering have you done for Hoofers/the outdoor community in the last year? (ex. Ice Age Trail Building, helping on a gear repair day, etc. If none, write "none") *
What is the earliest that you are available to leave on Friday, 10/25? *
What is a good phone number for us to reach you at? *
A copy of your responses will be emailed to the address you provided.
