- Payments are due on the 1st and should be completed by the 10th of the month. Acceptable forms of payment include check, cash, credit/debit card, money order or PayPal (www.paypal.me/miamiyouthballet). Personal checks or money orders sent from the bank should include the student’s full name and class level. Checks should be mailed to: 9210 SW 158 Lane, Miami, FL 33157. - ALL credit and debit card transactions will be assessed a transaction fee of 2.6%. ALL PayPal transactions will be assessed a transaction fee of 3%.
- A $10 late fee will be required if tuition payments are not received within ten days of the scheduled due date. A $25 charge will be assessed for each returned check. August & June are charged as half months and all other months are charged in full, regardless of absences, vacations or school breaks. Holidays are not prorated. Students whose accounts are deficient by 30 days will not be admitted to class until their account balance and all late fees are paid in full.
Class Withdrawal and Re-enrollment
- Withdrawal from a class or the school must be done so in writing and submitted to the school office by the 5th of the month. If a withdrawal is not submitted in writing, it is not valid and the account holder will be held financially liable to complete tuition payments until the withdrawal is formally received by the school office.
Absences and Class Make-Up Policy
-
Please notify the school office of any absence as soon as possible, before the scheduled class time, either by phone (305-256-3700) or email (miamiyouthballet@gmail.com)- Students may make-up missed classes in their current level or one level below. They may make up a missed class at a higher level, but only at the discretion and approval of their teacher. Make-up classes must be taken within a month of the missed class. Make-up classes are not permitted during Parent Observation Week. We will not deduct a missed class from your monthly payment. If your child is absent and is unable to take a make-up class, you are still required to pay the complete tuition amount.
- If a class is cancelled, the school will organize and schedule a make-up class within 30 days of the cancelled class. It is important for students to maintain good attendance in their class as too many absences may affect a student’s progress and future class placement.
Tardiness
- Parents are responsible for knowing class times and scheduled rehearsals. Students are not permitted to enter class more than 15 minutes late.
