Material Institute is excited to host a Spring Break Camp on April 14 + 15th from 9am–2pm for children 4–16 years old. Throughout the day campers will work in the garden and learn about sustainable gardening, raising healthy and happy chickens and bees, Louisiana ecology, healthy cooking techniques and a variety of ways to express their creativity! Snacks and lunch will be provided. Each week we will host a guest visitor and the possibility of an off site field trip.

This camp is perfect for children who enjoy being outdoors and getting dirty! Throughout our time together we hope that campers take ownership of the garden and have the knowledge and initiative to claim their own space for growing in the garden or at their homes. 24 Carrot Garden is located at Material Institute – a learning environment that serves as a space for community, creative experimentation, and expression. We'll explore creative passions in fashion and music with the help of our knowledgeable instructors.

The consent forms will need to be turned in on the first day of camp April 14th. Forms will be available for you the first day of camp if you're not able to print or scan beforehand.
