 Dear Parents

We hope that you and your children are keeping well. We are very sad that we have not been able to celebrate fully your child’s time here at Southville and that our usual plans for a Year 6 celebration have had to be cancelled this year.
We have therefore decided to invite all Year 6 children back into school to spend some time with their class on Thursday 16th July in the afternoon. It would be lovely to see all the children before they start their summer holiday and then ultimately move on to their secondary schools.

The classes will have an area on the school field and will arrive and leave at different times. Classes will not be mixing with other classes and parents will unfortunately not be able to attend.

Each class will have refreshments, hot dog and ice cream, provided by the school (no money will be required). Class teachers will celebrate each child’s achievements with their class. The children will be given their Leavers books and hoodies. At the end of the session the children can collect any books and personal items/PE kits etc from a designated zone outside the annexe building.

We ask that only one parent bring each child into school and similarly one parent only collects. Children can walk home alone if permission is given to do so. No uniform will be required.

Timings are as follows:

4pm – 5:30pm   6S

4:30pm – 6pm   6BK

5pm – 6:30pm   6BN

Entry to the field will be via the infant gate and children will exit through the gate by the annexe.

We are hoping that the weather will be kind to us next Thursday. If it rains or has rained excessively the night before we will be unable to hold this event.

Please respond to this form by: MIDDAY - TUESDAY 14th JULY.

We look forward to seeing everyone next week.

Kind Regards

Mrs J Spikings and the Year 6 team.
