Greetings! I am looking forward to guiding you on the upcoming forest bathing walk!
A forest bath is very slow-going, low-impact, short-distance stroll—sometimes less than .5 mile, sometimes up to a mile or two. The terrain can vary and be uneven, slippery or icy in certain weather and seasons, sometimes with hills to climb, and wet and mushy in spring. We will walk rain or shine. Please use your own best judgement on whether or not this walk is safe and right for you. Unless indicated, walks are not considered accessible, as most are trails winding through woods and field. Please note that you must be able to amble of your own accord. Shinrin-Yoku Madison and lead guide Kate Bast are unable to offer assistance or equipment to help you do so.
This brief, confidential survey simply helps me have a very basic awareness of any general health concerns that may impact you on the walk. Please use your own best judgement about participating.
Thank you!!
