PPA Attendance Policies and Expectations: You will attend, be present and actively participate in all sessions, including but not limited to:
- Be prepared for the session
- Ensure you have a location, where you can actively participate in class without interruption.
- Participate from your own computer and space (1 person per computer, per space).
- Have your camera on.
- Place yourself on mute (unless sharing).
- Join and engage in break out groups.
- Attendance will be taken throughout the session by instructor. It is expected that you will sign-in each session using sign-in in the chat box.
- Participation is mandatory for all sessions since this course is designed for active participation and sharing so that learning can take place.
The following are considered inappropriate, potentially dangerous, and unacceptable. Please be prepared to be removed form the session or have a conversation with an instructor during and or after class if you are engaged in the following:
a. Driving/operating a vehicle or in a moving vehicle
b. Shopping
c. Sleeping
d. Attending another meeting and or function.
Important: If your session is first one of the day, please log in at 7:50 am. We start at 8 am sharp.
If you have a session that will happen later in the day, please text me( 303-807-2525) in the morning so I can let you know before we start. 2nd session of the day typically start around 10:30 - 11ish. and last session of the day can start 12:30 to 1:15 pm.
Due to varying length, discussions, and activities I can not predict exact time. So texting me in the morning with your name and which session you need to take, is the best way to get a notification before we start. During the session I don't check emails, text me please to get hold of me.
