The session will report on how two WBG retiree founded NGOs (India Development Relief Fund and Partnership for Transparency) are making a difference in provision of humanitarian relief and improving governance during the COVID-19 pandemic in several countries as well as Washington DC. We will also learn from the World Bank Community Connections (WBCCC) Team on how the Bank staff and retiree community has supported a number of NGOs in Washington DC area and in Chennai India during the pandemic. The presentations and discussion will focus on how you and other retirees can be engaged in supporting the pandemic response.
