Please indicate below what your child would like to try out for in the 2023 St James Swimming Trials. These will be held at Aqualink, Ringwood on Wednesday 15th February at 7.30 until 8.30am. Parents/guardians will need to bring their child to the pool and then take them to school.

These are for year 3 to 6 age students. Students must be turning 9 by December 31 to qualify for trials. The races will be timed and the teams will be selected based on these times. The student must be able to swim 50m safely to trial for these events.

Students can trial for 50m freestyle, backstroke, butterfly or breaststroke. The fourth fastest times will make up the relay teams.

NOTE: the age they will be as at 31/12/2023. Therefore they must turn 9 by the end of 2023 to paticipate.

Please indicate below the strokes your child would like to try out for. As per district rules, students are allowed to be entered into two strokes and 1 relay for the event. The relay team will be selected based on the fourth fastest students in that stroke at the trials. For the trials, students can try out for as many events as they like.

NOTE: They must be able to swim the entire distance on their own.
