Embrace is an impact incubator + 501c3 fiscal sponsor for projects promoting equity, belonging, and healing in our world. Join a hand-selected community of successful leaders, creatives, social entrepreneurs, and founders coming together to scale our projects to the next level. Business and organizational leadership mentors, fundraising strategy and support, accountability, and fellowship of like-minded, ambitious BIPOC movers and shakers are here to help you build your best life, and make your greatest contribution.  

This application will help us determine if this next cohort can support your project to reach its next level of impact, prosperity, and sustainability. If you're collaborating with someone on the project you're incubating, please fill out this application together.

This impact incubator is a core program within a larger community of practice, including community gatherings, celebrations, healing circles, affinity groups, and more. Our vision is to grow east bay's hub of healing justice, regenerative economics, and cultures that support healing, liberation, and joy.

If we've invited you to apply, we already think you're awesome and you don't need to sell yourself. Our goal is primarily to ensure folks in the cohort are in relatable places in their projects. 
What is your focal project, business, or organization? This is the project you would be "incubating" and focusing the resources on. *
Where is this project currently regarding reach, impact, team size, revenue, and proof of concept? *
Example: We reach about 25 participants per month. We're getting great feedback, but our programming is infrequent. It's me, two guest facilitators, an assistant, and a few vendors I bring on as needed. We're at $120k a year in revenue, but I don't take home as much as I'd like. It's clear that we've created something that works, and it's time to find a way to make enough money for this full-time, enabling me to do it more consistently.
What would it look like in 6-12 months if your project scaled up to the next level? Please be very specific. Numbers. How your quality of life changes. The increase in reach and impact, etc. *
This Impact Incubator will operate on a sliding scale. It costs us $500-1,000 per month per participant to offer these supports for a 5-month program ($2,500-5,000 sliding scale for the full program). This would include a monthly mastermind with the full cohort, 1:1 business coaching, personalized support with fundraising for your project, and eligibility to apply for group grants under The Holistic Underground tax ID. Any grants you receive would be managed by The Holistic Underground, including bookkeeping, taxes, and compliance.

We may be able to work something out for this cohort or a future one.)

The cohort Mastermind will meet in Oakland, CA either virtually or as an in-person/virtual hybrid, with the option to join either way, from 3-5pm PST on the following dates: March 8th, April 12th, May 10th, June 14th, July 12th.
