2021 Tiny Earth Winter Symposium: Land Acknowledgement Reading
For the 2021 Tiny Earth Winter Symposium, we are inviting Tiny Earthlings to join us in recognizing the tribal lands that we stand upon which have been historically inhabited by indigenous people. By acknowledging the history of colonialism that we participate in by residing on sacred land and the presence and removal of indigenous communities, we gain understanding of the importance of our lands and our place in it.

We welcome students of all backgrounds to apply to conduct the land acknowledgement for the 2021 Tiny Earth Winter symposium. You do not need to have tribal affiliation to participate. Please submit a draft of your own land acknowledgement between 150-200 words by November 18th.
