Ekah Yoga is providing a one-person partial scholarship for the Fall 2022,  Yoga Teacher Training.  This scholarship hopes to make the Ekah Yoga teacher training more accessible for people in the community, especially to those who are underrepresented or marginalized. Ekah Yoga aims to provide services and training that are accessible and affordable to a diverse group within our community who want to participate. Eligibility is primarily determined on financial need, a commitment to learning, and eagerness for continued growth during and after training.

SCHOLARSHIP
Ekah Yoga is offering one (1) partial scholarship for this 200HR Yoga Teacher Training.  The scholarship is for a $400-1000 stipend to be applied to the full balance of the training. The amount will depend on the number of students signed up for the training program, if the minimum number of students are registered for the course, then the amount will be a $400 stipened; and if the number of registrants is closer to full capacity, the stipend amount will be eligible for $1000.  Ekah is able to provide this due to our Yoga Learning Initiative Fund and additional registrant funds.
 
EXPECTATION
The scholarship recipient will serve a vital role in organization and continued development of the YTT.
The scholarship recipient will be expected to show up 15 minutes before each training session begins to assist the teacher with setting up the workshop/session, and to stay 15 minutes after the session. The recipient will help with any set up whether that is in person or online with tech support. Some additional assignments may be given in helping with the continued development and refinement of the YTT. We feel that inclusion of these aspects of forming and solidifying the teacher training provides an even more valuable experience and will offer insight about the nuts and bolts of a YTT. The recipient will also have this extra time with the instructor to ask questions and build relationships with the instructors.

All applications for the scholarship are due by , July 31, 2022.

Awarded scholarship will be announced by August 2, 2022.
 
Student will be expected to put down deposit and make payments as other potential YTT students. If the recipient is unable to reserve or chooses to not receive their scholarship, another winner will be chosen and announced.
