Developing Rewards Systems for Y9, 10 and 11
We want to develop Romsey School’s reward systems so that ALL students feel real pride in their efforts and that ALL students understand that school colleagues really value their contributions. It would be really helpful if you can complete this survey so that we can establish 'the starting point'.
Many thanks. Mrs Eagle

Not a good idea
Alright
Really good idea
Retiring the credit system for Y9, 10 and 11 and bringing in something else (see below)
Instead of credits, use 'praise postcard' system for Y9, 10 and 11. These may be sent home electronically
Instead of credits, we could give Y9, 10 and 11 a 'token' which they can put into a box for their house (like the Waitrose system). The house who wins each term would have a prize such as a non-school uniform day.
Using the current credit system OR a new praise postcard system, students with the highest number of credits or postcards each term could be entered into a raffle for prizes (provided by local businesses)
Using the current credit system OR a new praise postcard system, students with the highest number of credits or postcards each term would be allowed into Romsey for a week (with staff supervision)
Using the current credit system OR a new praise postcard system, students with the highest number of credits or postcards each term could be given the opportunity to attend a trip
Give Braid earlier (starting at May Half term for Y9)
Have specific coloured ties for students who are working hard. One colour for a certain number of credits or praise postcards, one colour for sports teams, one for leadership, one for prefects andone for a very special level of achievement/conduct
Start with 100 credits (so all students have a positive 'net' score)
Have a prize, but that we donate to a charity chosen by the students who earn credits etc. instead of you being given a privilege/treat yourself
7) Any further comments/suggestions which might help to improve our Reward Systems
