Thank you for your interest in participating in our first ever Full Farm Investment Share program!
This program is designed with our longtime CSA members in mind, those of you who sign up with us every summer and every winter. Those of you who are interested in veggies, pork, eggs, microgreens....the whole shebang!
This program will be really neat because we will operate through a shared Google Sheet where you can access your own program page and make customizations to suit your wants and needs!
For example, if you are travelling for a month, simply sign into your farm account page and use the calendar section to let us know what dates you won't be around. You can go out of town at anytime, even in the summer, and you don't lose any value in your investment, nor do you lose any veggie boxes or product at all. We simply put your orders on hold while you're gone!
Or, if you have family visiting from out of town, sign into your farm account and let us know that you need extra food! Maybe you want more eggs, or a big pork roast, or maybe you want to select extra veggies to add onto your order.
The shared Google Sheet will be a work in progress as we all get the hang of it, but we are excited to offer this customizable option to our longtime CSA members.
This Investment Share program offers both you and us the most benefit. We are hoping for a minimum of ten Investment Share members signing up for 2024-26. This alone will mean we can finally build the fence we need at the farm to combat the devastating wildlife pressure we have been feeling in recent years. This program is intended to give us a sizable amount of working capital to kickstart an awesome year at the farm!
In turn, you receive the most benefits too. You are the only CSA share members who can customize what you get and when. You will also receive perks along the way that our other share members don't receive. We aren't making promises, but you never know when a fresh loaf of sourdough will show up in your order, or a fresh made jar of our famous pickles, or a jar of our new and amazing fermented hot sauce.
You also get to access whatever farm products we do have available at any time of the year. This Investment Share does include our 18 week veggie box program (that is the one set part of the program, but you can still add customizations into this veggie box portion of your share) but, we always have veggies available outside of this 18 week program - early spring veggies, late fall veggies, and bulk storage crops for example. So in May when our fields are pumping out amazing greens, radishes, turnips, early herbs and more early veggies - you get to access them first, while everyone else will have to wait until we stock up the store.
All of our Investment Share members also receive a 10% discount on all purchases at the Rooted Table!
And when there is only a dozen bunches of carrots to harvest in a week, they won't go to the store and they won't go to other CSA members - they will go to you first! Woot woot!
Even if you are vegetarian and aren't interested in pork or eggs, we know you will utilize the $2500 over the course of two years just on veggies and microgreens. We can even add in organic fruit as we have it available if this is of interest to you!
This is obviously a very new part of our CSA program, so we appreciate your patience as we navigate how best to make all of the available customizations easy to use and take advantage of.
The program will run for two years, or until your $2500 value is used up.
If you are interested in half of a pig or a whole pig share, we can include that in your $2500 program cost.
Eggs too!
You really do get the best of the best through this CSA option, and if you love our farm and the food we produce then we hope that you will consider investing in our farm so we can get a leg up this year!
We will sent out a membership agreement form once all of our CSA share options are filled up, but as per our usual agreement and like with all farm CSA programs, we do not offer refunds, but we will always work extra hard with our Investment Share members to transfer any remaining balance you may have to someone else, should you wish to leave the program.
