So you wanna be a Blue Jay Rookie League MVP? eeee. Well today's your chance to get registered and signed up for the 8 week free of cost Jays Care Foundation Rookie league 2K24 for Maskwacis and surrounding region.
This league is about building a solid foundation for our youth and their spirit to be connected with all things related to outdoor recreation, leadership, proactive lifestyle, cultural education and youth engagement. 

League Goals:

  1. Increase sport participation by empowering youth to thrive physically, mentally, spiritually, and to 'walk and live in a good way’.

  2. Increase connection among Maskwacis Cree’s four nations by promoting unity and inclusivity.

  3. Create opportunities for youth and their families to engage in alternative after-school programming designed to enhance well-being and cultivate a supportive community network.

  4. Increase youth confidence, self-esteem and resilience through positive programming focused on empowerment, personal development and mentorship. 

  5. Increase youth engagement with cultural teachings and practices through programming that fosters a sense of connection and pride.

  6. Provide Awareness of TED Rogers Scholarship for youth ages 25 and under for the 2024-2025 academic yeah for first year of study up to $2000. 

  7. Opportunity at 5K up for grabs and an opportunity to travel to Toronto to watch a Blue Jays Game in the Jays Care Foundation Suite.

  8. ALL WAIVERS WILL BE EMAILED OUT SEPARATELY AFTER REGISTRATION IS SUBMITTED.
