Poverty Simulation Workshop Sign-Up
PLU's Center for Community Engagement and Service is hosting a Poverty Simulation workshop on April 7th. The Poverty Simulation workshop is a unique interactive experience that helps people begin to understand what life is like with a shortage of money and an abundance of stress. The Poverty Simulation workshop lets people walk in the shoes of someone living on a limited income.

Participants role play as either a family member that is living near the poverty line or a community resource provider that serves the families. The Poverty Simulation workshop will be on April 7th, 2020 from 6:30pm-9:30pm CK, AUC. If you have any questions, please contact service@plu.edu. CCES will follow up with you via email closer to the event date.

***CCES is also in need of volunteers to act as the community resource provider (i.e banker, police office, child care worker, teacher) for the families. If you are interested sign up using this link (https://forms.gle/koSeHvR6irD9g6wr8). Please only fill out one form, this sign up form or the volunteer form-- not both.
