Be respectful and encouraging of the volunteers involved with the team (the referee, umpire, coach and manager).

Communicate any necessary information with the coach and manager and support their guidelines.

Ensure sideline behaviour is positive, respectful and shows good sportsmanship. There is to be no coaching from the side-lines from non-coaching parents.

Show commitment for your child’s sport – this involves attendance, punctuality and availability for games and practices, and payment of fees on time prior to playing.

Encourage children to participate in a wide array of sports. The sport/s they choose is/are for their enjoyment.

Remember that everyone involved in student sport is a volunteer (including staff) – this is how opportunities are provided, and whenever possible
parents should contribute in some way.
