When you become a Theatre Officer you are not just representing yourself but a department. It is of the utmost importance that you become a leader and a role model to your peers and incoming classes. Being an officer is a privilege and must be treated as such. Officers are expected to be at all Theatre events without exception. All officer positions should be looked at as a job. All officers should be willing to not just work as individuals but as a group to help the Theatre run smoothly.

All officers will have to answer to the department for their behavior. As an officer you are expected to keep your grades passing and yourself out of trouble. An officer not meeting these expectations will be relieved of his or her duties in the department.

Officer Events (Officers MUST be in attendance at all events!)
• Summer Theatre Organization (End of July/Beginning of August)
• Freshman Fish Camp (Mid-August)
• Rough Rider Rally (August)
• Theatre Kick Off Party  (Late August/Early September)
• Monthly Coffee Houses
• Homecoming (September/October)
• Trunk or Treat (October)
• Theatre Holiday Party (December)
• Rough Rider Round Up (January)
• Theatre Banquet (May)

Dismissal from officer position can be:
• Unexcused absence from any theatre event
• Missing a deadline
• Failing a class
• Inappropriate behavior in school and out. (SAC…etc.)

Expectations for all officers are the same across the board. Every officer will have to work hard to make the Theatre truly be great.
