Students in the 6th Grade will have the opportunity to take elective classes several times throughout the school year. These classes are taken during periods 7/8, which is an 80 minute block class and period 9, which is a 40 minute class. 7/8 block classes rotate on an A-B-C schedule and are semester based.  9th period classes are offered daily and change every marking period.  

Full year CI classes are not on the course selection sheet because they require an audition.  If you are interested in auditioning for a CI class, please contact our Related Arts Subject Matter Leader, Ms. Kondreck: ckondreck@montclair.k12.nj.us.

If you are eligible for a CI course, you will automatically be scheduled for that class instead of an elective on this form.  All students should still fill out this form completely for our records.
