In an effort to give the community an opportunity to host their own events with our servers, we have created a new role that comes the community itself! These new "Community Hosts" will be mostly independent of official VectorMC staff.
This being said, here is what they do:
Essentially they are people who can host semi-official events with escalated server privileges.
-> We allow this through giving them additional server privileges including server panel control for start/stop/restart/kill for the scrimmage servers along with scrimmage-only in-game permissions.
-> We may also provide them with their own full-access event servers called "Community Servers"
What they are permitted to do:
-> Host semi-official events using our name if approved
-> Host un-official events without our name without the need for approval
-> Host un-official/semi-official community created events (semi-official requires official staff approval)
-> They are the go-to people for community members who would like to use our servers for their own events (which is why they have direct server power on off control in case of malfunctions)
-> They also recieve a direct communication channel to us, and the staff team if they need anything
-> On special occasions, if required they may be lent a special event-only full-access community server
-> They are mostly independent of our control, staff will, to a reasonable extent not interfere in their activities unless necessary (such as breaking the rules)
* Hosts must also maintain a list of groups/individuals that have approached them to host an event, and the status of their request. This list will be made publicly viewable, and individuals who do not wish to be disclosed will be marked as "ANONYMOUS". Access to edit this public list will be given to these individuals.

This application is for those who are interested in filling this role. We are looking for three (3) individuals that would like to fill this role. The people that fill in this role (maximum four/4 individuals) can also be decided by the community, but community decisions for deciding the people in this role must undergo official administration staff approval as they have escalated privileges.
All future Community Hosts must also provide all information in this form to us before being promoted to this role.

Community Hosts must work together and run or participate in a event that either they or the community has created at least once every two (2) months to demonstrate that they are still interested in this role. Failure to do so may results in demotion, and an opening for that position will be re-opened to the public (including the demoted player).
