Luhr Elementary Wrestling Club

The Luhr Elementary Wrestling Club is a 5 week club that focuses on introducing the sport of wrestling to both male and female 3rd-5th grade students. The wrestlers will practice once a week in the gym after school. On the 5th week the wrestlers will participate in “The Main Event”. This event will take place at Marion C. Moore School on Thursday March 28th and Luhr wrestlers will take on wrestlers from Smyrna, and Hartstern. The kids have a blast learning a new sport and then competing in front of family, friends, and teachers. Trophies will be given to the school with the top 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, and overall team.

Times and Dates: Mondays after school from 3:00pm - 4:15pm in the Luhr gym starting Monday February 26th.

Eligibility: Any student in grades 3rd - 5th.

Cost: FREE!

Clothing: Wrestlers should wear t-shirt, shorts/athletic pants, and socks to practice. (Wrestling shoes if you have them.)

Instructors: The wrestlers will be coached by Moore high school and middle school coaches and wrestlers.
