Sign up here to participate in the Mini Mod Swap. Berene Campbell presented the swap at our April 19th, 2022 meeting. These little mini blocks are addictive, and each participant is asked to make a total of 30 mini blocks. Approximate fabric requirements - 1/3 yard or .35 metre of background and scraps of solids

This is both a guild group activity as well as a charity project with a difference. Instead of mailing us blocks for a quilt drive, you get to keep the project to remember your guild mates at this time. While there is no fee to guilds for this project, each participant is asked to make a small donation ($3-$5) to the Handmade Collective Awards - a bursary (scholarship) fund for BIPOC, Indigenous and LGBTQ2SL+ students. For the sake of consistency we are using only solids fabric for this swap. (No prints, grunge, textures, batiks etc) We will TRY to organize groups into those with similar palette choices, so that those that may have a limited supply of solids in their stash will not need a large variety of colours for their group. *

I have a good variety of solids fabric. You can put me in a mixed colour group if needed.

By signing up you are agreeing to making 24 mini mod blocks for your group mates (+ 6 for yourself) and mailing them by xxx (insert DATE). Blocks should be trimmed to 2" square (unfinished size), You will check that FPP templates are printed to 2" square before piecing. Each envelope should have a variety of designs and colours within the palettes that each of your group mates selected. Please send clean, scent free blocks with a sweet note or card to say hi. Do you agree to this?
