UNCG Auditorium’s primary function is to provide facilities and support services for the academic programs of the University, principally in the performing arts disciplines of visual and performance arts. The auditorium serves as a training facility for students who plan to pursue professional careers in the arts as performers, designers, technicians, and educators.  Additionally, UNCG Auditorium hosts major academic and co-curricular events sponsored by campus organizations, such as convocations, orientations, the University Concert/Lecture Series, and Student Activities programming.  Finally, the auditorium is available for rental by community organizations and professional promoters when dates are available.  These organizations will be charged for the use of the facility and for services provided according to the schedule of rates in effect at the time of usage.

Please note, a submitted request does not automatically become a reservation. You will be contacted by the Auditorium staff to discuss details of your planned event and to determine feasibility for your requested date and time based on the existing calendar. Factors that can effect feasibility include timing, the need for sets, clouds, or shells onstage, complexity of lighting and sound requirements, and availability of staff and crew.
