GlueX Discussion Questions
We would like to collect questions to motivate in-depth discussions about physics and analysis topics relevant to GlueX.  The idea is to try address broader topics that might not have a place in our working group meetings or require more in-depth discussion than time permits.

Some examples questions might be
  • Why do we sometimes fit with amplitudes and other times fit with SDMEs?  What is the relationship?
  • What is a K-matrix?
  • How do we accommodate background and accidentals when fitting data?
Note:  this is not a good place to ask for urgent help about a particular analysis task.  Asking your adviser, the working group conveners, the GlueX software help Google group, or posting on the appropriate slack channel are better.  Depending on the questions and available time it may take up to 1-2 months to organize materials for a discussion.
