Holiday Host: Winter Break- for int'l students (2022-2023).
If you are thinking of staying in Morris for all OR part of Winter Break, Holiday Host- Winter Break, could be a good option for you! A family connected with UMN Morris, would invite you to their home for a few hours to either: celebrate a holiday, cook/bake together, play board games, or take you sledding, skiing or skating! Many times the family can pick you up from campus. Morris during the Winter Break can be quite cold, Campus Safety will be on campus but not many other people, and Dining Hall will be closed. So having the option of leaving campus to socialize and get to know a new family would be a great opportunity! ISP will make the initial match between you and a family, and from there it is up to you and the family to connect and make plans over Winter Break, Dec 17-Jan 16. Remember this is for students planning on staying in Morris for all OR a part of the Winter Break.
