Supporting Sensemaking: Analyzing & Interpreting Data / Snails
They’re slimy, eat carrots, and generate lots of data. They’re snails! See how students from primary and upper grade levels use the crosscutting concept of structure and function to collect, analyze and interpret data. Explore how to support sensemaking by connecting to students’ everyday experiences, representing data visually, and structuring science talks in ways that help students think about data.
