Passing the Torch: Remembering Our History, Reimagining the Future薪火相傳：銘記歷史，共划未來
This event will feature a keynote speech “The Future of Civil Rights: Asian Americans After COVID-19” to be delivered by Dr. Frank H. Wu, President of Queens College, City University of New York (CUNY). President Wu is also an American law professor and author who actively advocates for the civil rights and engagement of the Asian American community. This celebration will also feature state and city officials, cultural performances, and recognition of our outstanding community partners and sponsors. In addition, we have curated a special silent auction for a collection of artworks, collectibles, and memorabilia, all donated by ACA's generous board members and supporters, the auction will start accepting bids on November 9th, 2022. All proceeds will contribute to the ACA 50th Anniversary Capital Campaign.
來自紐約城市大學 Queens College的吳華揚校長作爲本次慶典的特邀演講嘉賓將為所有與會者做專題演講，演講題目是 “公民權益的未來: 后COVID-19疫情下的亞裔美國人”。吳校長亦是著名的美國法學教授和作家，長期致力於為美國亞裔群體的公民權益和政治活動發聲支持，並為多家主流媒體撰寫評論專欄。本次慶典活動我們亦邀請了州、市政府官員以及我們傑出的社區合作夥伴和贊助商與我們一道共襄盛舉。爲了此次盛會，我們還精心安排策劃了文化藝術表演以及一場小型公益拍賣，此次公益拍賣將於2022年11月9日零點上綫，所有拍品均來源於我們慷慨的美華理事和友人，本拍賣的所有收益將全數捐贈給美華50周年籌款項目。
