Wiltshire Music Connect, the Music Education Hub for Wiltshire, is delighted to launch the Wiltshire Music Education Awards 2024. (Wiltshire, not including Swindon, which has its own Music Education Hub.)
These awards are designed to celebrate people and schools in the county who dedicate themselves to creating outstanding music education for children and young people.
Who can nominate: Any adult, over the age of 18, can make a nomination providing they have knowledge of the skills and achievements of the person they are nominating. For example, nominations can be made by Headteachers, Governors, Teachers, School Support Staff, Parents, Music Leaders and School support staff (external and internal) etc. Any e-mail addresses provided in this form will be used for contact purposes only and not added to any databases.
Criteria
Nominees must:
- Work in Wiltshire
- Contribute to / have a track record of contributing to music opportunities for children and young people in Wiltshire (in or outside schools) over a sustained period of time
- Have an established relationship with Wiltshire Music Connect
- Show a dedication to music education that inspires and motivates others
- Have an inclusive approach to their work
- Be reflective in their practice
- Continually strive for excellence in music education
The deadline for all nominations is 12pm on Tuesday 7 May 2024.
