Membership Benefits

Become a part of the Raleigh Homeschoolers' Co-op, a vibrant, Christian homeschooling community that welcomes families with children aged 5-16! Our co-op provides a supportive, enriching environment where learning and fellowship go hand in hand, reflecting our shared commitment to education.

**Community:** Our community is based on Christian values, and we strive to foster an environment that nurtures both family and community. By joining us, you become part of a cooperative where shared beliefs strengthen our shared educational mission.

**Priority Access:** As a member, you'll enjoy priority enrollment in our events held throughout the year. Whether at our warm, welcoming holiday event or in the wonderful settings of our local community, your family will be part of a myriad of enriching experiences. After members have access to enroll, events may be posted on social media to encourage new members, but only after current members have the option to register.

**Private Online Community:** Members receive access to our private online community group on Facebook, an invaluable resource filled with homeschooling information, updates on upcoming events, and a platform for connecting with other homeschooling families.

**Support Group:** Join our homeschool parents' support group where you can share experiences, learn from others, and find fellowship. These meetings are held monthly via Zoom, and are a chance to connect with and support other parents on their homeschooling journey.

By joining the Raleigh Homeschoolers' Co-op, you're not merely opting for an array of classes and resources; you're becoming part of a thriving homeschooling community in Wake County. Together, we'll provide our children with an education rich in knowledge and friendship.

Event Participation

As part of our co-op, your family will be invited to participate in our special events. These occasions offer wonderful opportunities for learning, connection, and fun. We strive to make our co-op as accessible as possible, and thus, while some events carry a fee, others are free to attend.

Please bear in mind that due to limitations in space and resources, we cannot guarantee a spot for each event or class. Your understanding and cooperation is greatly appreciated.

We host various events throughout the year and offer extracurricular activities that would greatly benefit from your talents and time.

Holiday Parties: Help with organization, decoration, food, games, and more.

Local Events: Assist in planning and executing educational and fun local outings and community service projects.

Acknowledgment of Co-op's Educational Scope:

Raleigh Homeschoolers' co-op is committed to providing an enriching and enjoyable educational experience for all our students. However, we want to be transparent about our capabilities. For the 2023-2024 school year, our teacher and volunteer-led program does not have the specialized resources or educators necessary to fully support students with individual learning support needs or who require special learning accommodations. We aim to create a positive and effective learning environment for all students, and we ask for your understanding of our available resources.

Membership Fee and Group Etiquette

The annual family membership fee of $12 is non-refundable. This contribution helps us organize engaging activities and events for all our families.

We strive to foster a supportive, respectful, and engaging environment for all members. While we hope it won't be necessary, we reserve the right to remove families from the group if circumstances require. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a positive atmosphere in our co-op.

Please note there is an annual family membership fee of $27 or $12 after January 1st. Upon temporary approval, you'll receive an email with a link to submit this payment. You will not be fully accepted in Raleigh Homeschoolers' co-op and have access to benefits and resources until payment has been received.
