Placement interviews are friendly, and will consist of singing vocal warm ups to determine the singer's range and voice part, as well as a small amount of sight-singing and discussion on technique. Placement interviews will be done in person, or via Zoom if it isn't possible to schedule an in person time.
Singers with bass or baritone voices who are in grade 9 may also be considered for this group.

Singers should also be prepared to sing through a short, simple song (Happy Birthday or O Canada is fine if you're not sure what to pick!) - think 30 seconds to a minute. Auditions are about 15 minutes long.
