Night-O at Victoria Bryant State Park Camping Trip
Come hang with your friends at Victoria Bryant State Park!  We will be staying at the super-awesome group campsite that boasts a fabulous fire ring, a super-cool pavilion, and weather-protected Adirondack shelters.  The site has a flushing toilet and running water!

We will do some camp cooking, learn a bit about orienteering, and head out for an orienteering adventure when the sky gets dark.  It's going to be so fun!

WHEN:  March 5-6, 2022.  Our Saturday departure time will be determined at the Venturing meeting on 2/23, but plan for morning.  We will return to St. James early afternoon on Sunday, probably between 11:00 and 1:00.  (Late arrivals to Victoria Bryant are possible, if needed.)

WHERE:
We will meet at St. James UMC and then carpool together to Victoria Bryan State Park.

COST:
The cost of the trip is $30 and includes lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.  (Driving adult leaders are free.)

WHAT TO BRING:
This is a camping trip.  So, you will need camping basics.  However, there are Adirondack shelters, so tents are optional.  You can check out this handy packing list (https://troop370atlanta.org/documents/Harry%20Packing%20List.pdf) to serve as a guide, but please ask questions if this is your first camping trip with us.  We have tents and other gear you can borrow, if needed.  Just ask.

CAMPOUT PLANNING:
We will plan the details of our camping trip at the Venturing Crew meeting on Wednesday, February 23, at 8:00 PM.  We hope you can make it!

NOTES:
Try to register as soon as you can.  This is a great trip to bring a friend along!

PAYMENT:
You may make the $30 payment in these ways:
1.  Venmo to the troop account @Troop-ThreeSeventy. You can access the payment portal via the troop website at troop370atlanta.org.
2.  Check made out to "Troop 370" and give to any Venturing Adult or mailed to Emory Boyd, 745 Starlight Dr., Atlanta, GA 30342.
