LEVEL ASSESSMENT TESTS:
I. Enrolment and level assessment tests are on a first-come, first-served basis.
II. New students or those whose previous registration was over a year ago must do a verbal level assessment that takes 5 to 10 minutes. If the new student have never taken a French course in the past and have no basics, the assessment test is not required.
III. Students who attended any of our classes in the past year can start their registration a week before new students. No verbal test is required.
IV. A level assessment test can also be done over the phone with one of our teachers. Students will be charged a $10.00 administration fee prior to taking the assessment.

ENROLMENT AND PAYMENT:
I. Our classes are open to people aged 16 and over.
II. Full payment is required at the time of registration.
III. Enrolment is on a first-come, first-served basis.
IV. Fees for the course will not be prorated for students who join the class after the commencement date.
V. Courses can be purchased:
a. Online (PayPal)
b. Over the phone: (604) 736-9806 (VISA, MASTERCARD)
c. In person at 1551 West 7th Avenue, Vancouver (CASH, DEBIT, VISA, MASTERCARD, CHEQUE)

REFUND POLICIES:
I. Le Centre reserves the right to discontinue or reorganise classes. Classes for which a minimum enrolment is not met will be cancelled. In such cases, students may request a full refund of fees paid for the course and for materials.
II. Students wishing to cancel their enrolment before a course starts can do so by email to info@lecentreculturel.com to receive a full refund of the course fee.
III. To cancel enrolment and receive a refund after their course starts, students must send an email to info@lecentreculturel.com at least 48 hours before their second scheduled class. This refund is limited to 85% of the course fee. After this deadline, no refund will be given and no transfer to another course session will be allowed.
IV. Owing to the rules governing Societies, our yearly membership fee is not refundable.

ABSENTEEISM TOLERANCE:
I. Students enroll in our courses for the full semester and no prorated fee applies for a shorter duration. If a student misses class for a personal reason, Le Centre cannot be held responsible and a policy of no credit or refund applies.
II. A course certificate is awarded to students who attend at least 80% of the classes scheduled for their course. This means that a student must attend 8 out of 10 classes during the winter, spring and fall semesters and 7 out of 8 classes during the summer semester.
III. Students who miss more than 80% of the classes will not receive a certificate. These students will have to repeat the same level, or we can refer the student to a tutor for help in completing all the prerequisites to reach the next level.

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS:
I. Classes will not be held on BC public holidays.
II. Make-up classes will be held at the end of the semester to compensate for any classes postponed due to public holidays.
