Do you live within 10 miles of Pasadena, CA?

This position necessitates carrying infants and/or equipment up to 30lbs, performing auditory, manual and visual assessments, utilizing touchscreen devices, walking up stairs, and traveling to multiple client sites in one shift. Are you able to perform the above actions consistently, safely, and comfortably? *
Are you legally authorized to work in the U.S.? *
Do you hold an active International Board Certified Lactation Consultant credential, or have you already been approved to sit for the exam? *
This position mainly involves conducting sessions in client's homes within a 15 mile radius of Altadena/Pasadena (we provide mileage reimbursement). Do you have reliable and consistent transportation?  *
Do you understand that this position is considered part-time, with the schedule being contingent on your availability and on patient need? We tend to be very busy (hence, this job opening) but cannot guarantee appointments.

Are there any people or group that you could not provide lactation support for wholeheartedly? For example: those of a certain race, religion, orientation; or those with a particular stance on circumcision, sleep training, or vaccination? *
Most of our clients see us with newborns under 8 weeks old—newborn experience is a must.

Describe your experience with caring for newborns (professional and/or personal experience). *
What training do you have in tongue tie assessment and care, if any?
As you will be working with infants and in client homes, we would conduct a background check and drug screening prior to sending you in the field. Are you willing to undergo these checks?
