Background:
The Mental Health Advisory Committee was created by the Eagle County Board of County Commissioners in response to the passing of the November 2, 2017 County Ballot Issue 1A, allocating Marijuana Tax dollars for the specific purpose of funding organizations and services that support the mental health needs of Eagle County residents. This may include, with the recommendation of the Committee, and the approval of the Board of County Commissioners, the provision of mental health services, as well as support of organizations along the continuum of care including promotion, prevention, treatment and recovery.
